Basics – Book Now
When should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 20-30 minutes before your campaign start time to fill out liability forms.
What should I wear?
You should wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Although you don’t get as messy as in traditional paintball, you may still get dirty from dust or other grime from the tank and the field (and you might still get some paintball residue on you also).
You should also dress for the weather. The Scorpion tanks are neither heated nor air-conditioned.
What should I bring?
Sunscreen, sun hat, possibly bug spray. Also, feel free to bring picnic-type food items for before or after your adventure.
What is provided?
Each player will be issued a protective helmet and will operate their own scorpion mini-tank (including enough gas for the campaign) armed with a Valken Razorback paintball marker and 200 paintballs. Additional paintballs are available for purchase during the campaign if you find out that 200 paintballs are just not enough!
Are food and drinks available?
We do have pre-packaged snacks (candy bars, chips, etc.), soft drinks, and bottled water on site.
Baker has a quaint restaurant in town that we highly recommend. The Gator Café, is located 6.7 miles from our fields (unfortunately it is closed on Sundays).
Can I bring my own food?
Yes, we have picnic tables located in our office/parking area for your use. You don’t even have to share with us!
Are paintball reloads extra?
Yes, we do charge $9 for a 200-paintball reload.

How difficult is it to operate the tank?
Simple, there are two levers to drive the tank and one handle to operate the paintball marker. To drive move the levers forward to move forward, backward to move backward. To turn move the levers in opposite directions to turn. To stop, simply let go of the levers!
To fire the paintball projector, turn the handle left or right to turn the turret, tilt up and down to aim vertically, and pull the trigger to fire.
Will there be instructions?
Yes, the above operation instructions will be demonstrated on site at the beginning of your session.
Will I get hit by paintballs?
Possibly, but not nearly as much as traditional paintball. Your head will be exposed out of the top of the tank’s turret, but you will be offered a helmet (and you will be required to wear eye protection).
Also, you don’t score points for hitting someone in the head with a paintball, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen.
Can people with disabilities participate?
As long as a person can use both arms they can operate the Scorpion tank. It may be difficult to transfer into/out of the tank, but we will do what we can to make it happen.
Will I participate with people I don’t know?
In all likelihood, yes. Unless your group of friends rents the entire session you are likely to be mixed in with other individuals/groups participating in your session.
Minimum Age / Height – Book Now
How old do participants need to be?
While we do not have a minimum age requirement, it is important that the players are tall enough to see out of the tank turret. It is for this reason that players must be 12 years of age or older.
Is there a minimum height requirement?
A sitting height of 32 inches is required. (Measured from the seat to the top of your head.)
Can my child ride with me in the tank?
Unfortunately, no. There really isn’t any room in the tank for that and it generally wouldn’t be safe.
Equipment – Book Now
Can I bring my own equipment to use?
It depends. You can bring your own headgear for protection (participants 17 years old and under will be required to use our headgear unless we determine that your gear is equivalent or better), but you may not use your own paintball markers (projectors) or paintballs at OddBall Tactics.
Policies – Book Now
Can I make a reservation and then pay on site?
Yes, but we will need a payment method on file in case of cancelation. Call or email us and we will be happy to get your reservation on the books!
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel your session more than 24 hours ahead of time you will get a refund. If your session is canceled for weather, you will also get a refund.
What if it rains?
If it rains we will still run sessions, but you may cancel your session if you wish to do so. If there is lightning in the vicinity, we will cancel the session.
What if it snows?
Unlikely, but it could happen here. If it snows (unless there is lightning) we will continue to run the session, but as with rain you may cancel if you wish.
